Subtitle
The constitutional commitments of the Institution.
Preamble
Luxury Hotel Brokers exists to create and apply trusted knowledge that improves decisions throughout the global luxury hospitality industry. The Institution undertakes its work in recognition that luxury hospitality contributes to commerce, culture, architecture, tourism, philanthropy and international understanding. Accordingly, this Charter establishes the commitments by which the Institution shall permanently govern itself.
Article I — Purpose
Luxury Hotel Brokers exists to advance the value, understanding and stewardship of extraordinary hotels. The Institution serves owners, investors, operators, researchers and the public through independent intelligence, disciplined advisory and permanent research.
Article II — Independence
Research shall remain independent. Commercial interests shall never determine research conclusions.
Article III — Integrity
Evidence shall be cited. Errors shall be corrected publicly. Methodologies shall remain transparent.
Article IV — Stewardship
The Institution shall encourage the preservation, enhancement and responsible transfer of exceptional hospitality assets.
Article V — Professional Conduct
The Institution shall conduct itself with discretion, respect and confidentiality.
Article VI — Knowledge
Research shall be developed for the long-term benefit of the industry.
Article VII — Standards
Every report shall be governed by published institutional standards.
Article VIII — Legacy
The Institution shall make decisions that strengthen the next generation rather than merely the next financial year.
Article IX — Hospitality
Luxury hotels are places where people celebrate life's defining moments. The Institution therefore recognises hospitality as both an economic activity and a public cultural contribution deserving thoughtful stewardship.
Article X — Future Generations
Luxury Hotel Brokers shall preserve, expand and transmit its accumulated knowledge so that future researchers, owners, investors, operators and hospitality professionals may benefit from the work of previous generations.
