Editorial standards.
A single institutional voice, held across every publication, contributor and cycle. These standards apply to every page issued under the Luxury Hotel Brokers imprint.
Voice
The institutional voice is measured, precise and reserved. It states findings; it does not perform confidence. It prefers the plain word over the technical one when both will do. It does not use exclamation.
Evidence
Every material claim is supported by primary data, first-hand interview or cited secondary source. Aggregate figures cite the underlying series. Confidence intervals and sample sizes are disclosed where relevant.
Attribution
Every publication carries the imprint of the institutional body that issued it. Where named authorship is appropriate, authors and their disclosed interests are recorded on the publication.
Sourcing
Confidential information shared in the course of Advisory or Brokerage engagements is not used in published research. Where market intelligence is derived from aggregated engagement data, that fact is disclosed and no principal is identifiable.
Terminology
"Institution", "Institute" and "Research Institute" refer to the LHB Research Institute. "Principals" refers to the owners, investors and executives with whom the institution engages. Currencies default to Pounds Sterling unless otherwise stated. Dates are rendered in British form.
Permanence
Publications are permanent objects. Amendments below the threshold of correction are recorded as "editorial refinement" with the date of change. Amendments at or above the threshold of correction are handled under the Corrections and Retractions policy.
Review
Every publication of the Institute passes editorial review by a member of the Editorial Board other than its author. Quantitative work receives a second methodological review.
Intelligence Record™ Standard
Institutional Directive 001 freezes the editorial hierarchy, citation architecture, governance model, methodology, typography and publication architecture of every Luxury Hotel Intelligence Record™. Reference Property No. 001 (The Breakers Palm Beach) is the canonical implementation. Structural changes affecting the frozen elements must follow the change-control process and be prototyped on the reference property before propagation. See the Intelligence Record™ Standard.
