Constitutional Collection of Published Knowledge

The Luxury Hospitality Library
of Luxury Hotel Brokers™

The Institution's permanent curated collection of the world's most significant published works relating to luxury hospitality.

The Luxury Hospitality Library preserves, organises and connects the literature that has shaped luxury hospitality throughout history. Books, journals, white papers, research reports, conference proceedings, doctoral research and institutional publications are curated not merely as references, but as part of the profession's collective intellectual heritage.

Constitutional Principle

Luxury Hotel Brokers does not simply accumulate knowledge. It preserves, organises, connects and passes knowledge forward.

Every great profession is ultimately defined not only by the excellence of its practitioners, but by the quality of the knowledge it chooses to preserve. The Luxury Hospitality Library exists to ensure that the accumulated wisdom of luxury hospitality is never merely remembered, but continually rediscovered, connected and passed forward.

Directive 013A · Deliberate Curation

The Library grows deliberately, not numerically.

The Luxury Hospitality Library is not populated by placeholder records or automatic imports. Every publication admitted to the Library is reviewed by the Editorial Board of the Luxury Hotel Brokers Research Institute™ and receives a full editorial review, institutional commentary and a "Why this work matters" essay before it is admitted.

The Library launches with five inaugural Library Records. It will grow through deliberate editorial curation rather than numerical accumulation. Every addition is intended to strengthen the Institution's intellectual legacy.

Every year the Institution reviews the Library and publishes the Luxury Hospitality Canon™ — the works considered indispensable for understanding luxury hospitality. Books may be added. Books may move in significance. New classics may emerge. Historic works shall be preserved. The Canon is a living scholarly collection.

Editorial Independence

The Library recommends publications solely on the basis of their contribution to professional knowledge, historical significance or scholarly value.

Inclusion within the Library does not imply endorsement of every opinion expressed within a publication. Likewise, omission does not imply criticism.

The Library exists to preserve and curate the literature of the profession with independence, balance and intellectual integrity.
