The standing register in which members of the institution's governing bodies and named contributors disclose material interests in hotels, groups, operators, principals and transactions.
Scope
The register records the material interests of members of the Editorial Board, the Research Advisory Council, the Investment Advisory Panel and the Regional Research Network, together with any named authors of Institute publications.
What is disclosed
Ownership interests in a hotel, group or operator; directorships and advisory positions; consulting engagements above a de minimis threshold; family relationships with principals; and any other interest that a reasonable reader would want to know about when weighing a publication.
Update cadence
The register is refreshed on appointment, on the taking of any new material interest, and on an annual cycle. The date of last update is recorded on the register.
The register is established and maintained. Entries are added as appointments to the institution's governing bodies are confirmed and as any named contributor publishes under the Institute imprint.
