Governance · Instrument VI

Corrections and retractions.

How material errors are corrected, disclosed and preserved. The institution does not silently amend its published work.

Standard

The institution corrects any error of fact, calculation, quotation or attribution that would meaningfully alter the reader's understanding of a publication. Below that threshold, edits are recorded as editorial refinement with the date of change.

Notification

A corrections notice is added to the affected publication in a location the reader cannot miss. It states the nature of the error, the correction made, and the date. The original text is preserved in the institutional archive.

Retraction

Where an error is so material that the publication cannot stand, the work is retracted. A retraction notice is issued in place of the withdrawn text, stating the reason and the date. The withdrawn edition remains preserved in the archive.

Register

A standing Corrections and Retractions Register is maintained under this Governance Centre. Every correction and retraction is recorded on the register with a link to the affected publication and its notice.

How to notify the institution

Notification of a suspected error may be made to corrections@luxuryhotelbrokers.com. Notifications are acknowledged and reviewed by a member of the Editorial Board other than the author of the work.

Register of corrections and retractions

The register is maintained and published on this page. No corrections or retractions have been issued at the date of publication of this instrument.
